(This is a sample blog post one would find on a companies blog page. The example is marketing Toyota's line of GR Sports Cars.)
Why You Should Go Toyota if You’re in the Market for a New Sports Car

What do you think of in terms of iconic sports cars? Most would list names like Nissan Silvia, Honda S2000, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, Mazda RX-7, Toyota AE86 and Toyota Supra amongst many others. But what is one thing the Toyota’s do not have in common with these other cars? They are still being made today and you can buy them for decent prices!

Competitors like Honda, Nissan, and Subaru are still pumping out staples like the Type-R, GT-R, and WRX respectively of course. However these cars are all overpriced. Even dated in some instances.

Look at the new WRX for example. To put it simply, it’s as if they plopped an Impreza on an Outback chassis and called it a day. Nissan is also an offender. The GT-R hasn’t been fully updated since its launch back in 2007, over 15 years ago. And what on Earth happened to Honda? Back in the 90s we had big names like the Integra, Prelude, NSX, S2000, Civic Type-R, and CR-X. Now all we get is a ludicrously overpriced turbo Civic, a rebadged TLX and an Italian sports coupe masquerading under the Integra and NSX names respectively? How lame!

So then what does Toyota have to offer?

Only the best selection! The GR Supra, GR86, and GR Corolla, giving the masses what they want.

The Supra continues to hold true to its roots, unlike the GT-R and Z from Nissan which changed to V6 setups. With a beefy turbocharged inline 6-Cylinder engine, Toyota hasn’t strayed away from what made the Supra so great! Now available with automatic and intelligent manual transmissions, there is a Supra for everyone!

For decades, people have loved the older Trueno’s punchy light weight and rear wheel drive setup for curvy road fun. So of course Toyota is keeping the spirit alive with the GR86. This small two door coupe with power and light weight will make anyone feel like they're blasting down the mountain pass in the early morning hours. All without breaking the law! The sleek new design and more modern internals guarantee the light weight low power experience while still providing enough power to compete with newer sport coupes!

“But what if I want to haul ass AND haul the kids to soccer practice at the same time?” Well then, how about the GR Corolla! A sleek four door hatchback with 300 horsepower from a turbocharged inline 3-cylinder engine. Combined with the GR FOUR AWD system, it has never been more fun to get the groceries. The WRX likely provides a similar experience you might be thinking. Wrong! The Corolla’s modest but powerful 3-cylinder will deliver better fuel efficiency than the WRX. And it’s always more fun when you aren’t paying an arm and a leg at the gas station.
So what about these decent prices? Oh, glad you asked, I almost forgot! Why buy a $44,000 FWD Civic, when you can get an AWD Corolla for $36,000! And how about those ludicrous GT-R prices, starting well over $120,000! Are you serious?? Let’s be rational, and settle on a much more modest $45,500 and get a Supra that still holds true with an inline 6 and big turbo. Lastly there is the humble but incredible GR86 for $28,400 compared to Mazda who thinks selling a Miata for $30,400 is cool. Unbelievable! When you go with Toyota, your bank account will thank you!

So at the end of the day, why Toyota? You’re paying for a sport, not just a fancy name and legacy. If we really think about it, most other companies haven’t been doing great at keeping up. Say goodbye to overpriced Civics, V6 non-Skyline GT-Rs, and dopey looking WRXs. Go with Toyota and say hello to awesome legacy cars with the performance to back it up. All without killing your bank account!
